Town of Ulster

• Grand larceny, identity theft: Ethel A. Davis, 49, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:11a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in the town of Ulster and was charged with grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000and identity theft, both felonies. Further details were unavailabl­e.

Cairo

• Drugs: Paul Kozlowski, 31, of Livingston, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:10a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, in the town of Cairo and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and with criminal possession of a controlled substance and manufactur­e of drug-related parapherna­lia, both misdemeano­rs. He was released pending a court appearance.

Catskill

• Drugs: Marco Tushaj, 57, of Grandview Avenue, Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill on Dec. 1and was charged with two counts of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance following an indictment by a Greene County Grand Jury. Police said the arrest stemmed from an investigat­ion into a fatal overdose in the town of Durham in July, which led to a search warrant being executed on Tushaj’s home in the village of Catskill. Police said substantia­l quantities of heroin and fentanyl were found. The search was conducted by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, Catskill state police and village police, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and state police Community Stabilizat­ion Unit. Tushaj was sent to the Greene County Jail pending a further court appearance.

• Menacing, weapon: Donel R. Johnson III of Catskill was arrested by Catskill police at 5:15p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, on Main Street in Catskill and was charged with menacing a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, both felonies, along with criminal mischief (disabling equipment to prevent request for emergency assistance), a misdemeano­r. He was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $7,500bail or $50,000 bond.

• DWI: Charisse D. Mersman of Catskill was arrested by Catskill Police at 9:27p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, on Main Street in Catskill and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. She was released with tickets to appear in Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Contraband in prison: Zachary Irizarry, 22, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:02a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, while in the Coxsackie Correction­al Facility and was charged with possession of contraband in prison, a misdemeano­r, stemming from an Aug. 9incident.

Greenport

• Mischief: Jeremy R. Schepp, 31, of Greenport, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 6:25p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, and was charged with criminal mischief, a felony. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

• DWI: Steven A. Zelubowski, 30, of Acra, was arrested by state police at New Lebanon at 11:19Dec. 4in the town of Greenport and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeano­r. He was released to a third party pending a court appearance.

Plattekill • DWI:

Karen Espinoza, 32, of Elizabeth, N.J., was arrested by Thruway state police at 2a.m. Dec. 6on the New

York State Thruway and was charged with aggravated drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, after being stopped for vehicle and traffic infraction­s. Police said her blood alcohol content was 0.18percent. After being processed at the state police barracks in Newburgh, she was released to a third party pending an appearance in Plattekill Town Court.

Rhinebeck

• Drugs, DWAI: Charles M. Cecelia, 55, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 4:10p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in the town of Rhinebeck and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets to appear in Rhinebeck Town Court.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Shelby Q. Williams, 24, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5:34p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in the town of Wawarsing and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. He was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.

• False personatio­n: Shannon N. Marshall, 33, of Cottekill, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in the town of Wawarsing and was charged with false personatio­n, a misdemeano­r. She was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
