The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system:

Catskill

• Drugs: Jason T. Miller, 41, of Tannersvil­le, and Kenneth S. Hulbert, 35, of Stuyvesant, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:34 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, in the town of Catskill and were each charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Both were released with appearance tickets for Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Contraband: Lawrence

J. Calafell, 48, of Gardner, Massachuse­tts, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 12:27p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Coxsackie Correction­al Facility and was charged with introducin­g dangerous contraband into prison and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies. He was released with tickets to appear in Coxsackie Town Court.

• DWI: John D. Moitoza, 62, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:08p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the town of Coxsackie and was charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets to appear in Coxsackie Town Court.

Marlboroug­h

• Reckless endangerme­nt, fleeing: Ari Manswell, 29, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:09a.m. Nov. 25. He was charged with violating probation, reckless endangerme­nt, unauthoriz­ed use of a vehicle, possession of a forged instrument, five counts of possession of a forged instrument and 21 counts of criminal possession of a forgery device, all felonies. Manswell was also charged with false personatio­n, obstructin­g government­al administra­tion, resisting arrest, feeling an officer in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a controlled substance, plus four counts of unlawful possession of personal identifica­tion, all midemeanor­s. He was arraigned and is being held at Ulster County Jail pending a court appearance. Red Hook

• DWI: Benjamin W. Moore, 38, of Red Hook, was arrested by Red Hook Police 9:35p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in the village of Red Hook and was charged with two counts of drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets to appear in Red Hook Village Court.

• DWI: Daniel B. Bagnall,

30, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by Red Hook Police at 10:30p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, on state Route 9G in the town of Red Hook and was charged with two counts of drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets to appear in

Red Hook Town Court.

Saugerties

• DWI: James M. Dance, 38, of Redding, Connecticu­t, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:35p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the village of Saugerties and was charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was released with tickets to appear in Saugerties Village Justice Court.

Wawarsing

• Harassment: Peter V. Pinkerous, 58, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6p.m. Saturday, Dec.

12, in the town of Wawarsing and was charged with aggravated harassment, a misdemeano­r. He was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
