KERHONKSON- Raymond Jansen, 70, of Kerhonkson, N.Y., passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at home surrounded by family. He was born February 8, 1950 in Kingston; son of the late Harry and Frances (Whittaker) Jansen. Ray served in the US Army during Vietnam. He later worked for the Town of Hurley Highway Department for many years, retiring in 2005. After retirement, he was the care taker of So-Hi Campground in Accord, a place he considered his second home. He is survived by his children, Frances (Bryan) Smith of Saugerties, Richard (Mary) Robinson of Kerhonkson, Floyd (Delta) Robinson of Accord, Darren (Alison) Robinson of Accord, Brenda ( Chuck) Martisek of Jacksonvil­le, Fla.; his grandchild­ren, Trevor, Shelby, Dakota, Richard, Cory, Paige, Aydin, Kayleigh, Robert, and Cheyenne; and his great-grandson, Brayden. As well as his siblings, James (Hattie Ann) Jansen, Harry Jansen, Carol Hammon, Lois Bundy, Irene Winchell, and Nancy Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predecease­d by his brothers, Warren and Bruce Jansen.
