Sean Murphy of Rhinebeck was named to the president’s list at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, N.H., for the fall semester.

Students earn president’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.

Murphy is majoring in adventure education.

Two area residents — Alyssa Mast of New Paltz and Kiyan Hocek of Wallkill — earned the Dean’s Award with Distinctio­n at Colgate University in Hamilton for the spring semester.

Students earn the award by achieving a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Mast is majoring in peace and conflict studies and is a New Paltz High School graduate. Hocek is a physics major and is a Pine Bush High School graduate.

Maya Chrobot of Hurley was named to the dean’s list at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, for the winter semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.

A 2016 Kingston High School graduate, Chrobot is majoring in neuroscien­ce. She is the daughter of Michael F. Chrobot and Elizabeth A. Blair of Hurley.

Naccarato, both of Saugerties, Michael Mondelli of Pine Bush and Rory Burns of Germantown — were named to the dean’s list at Le Moyne College in Syracuse for the spring semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Hanson is a sophomore majoring in political science. Naccarato is a sophomore. Mondelli is a senior majoring in management and leadership. Burns is a senior majoring in communicat­ions.
