The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Esopus
• Drugs: April Pond, 39, and Kareem Hill, 46, both of Kingston, were arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies with assistance from state police at 9:45p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, on U.S. Route 9W in Esopus. Pond was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), aggravated unlicensed driving, a misdemeanor; possession of marijuana and several other violations. Hill was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl). They were arrested after deputies allegedly saw a vehicle on Route 9W speeding and crossing over the fog line. Both were released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.
Lloyd
• DWAI-drugs: Shanna N.
Brathwaite, 31, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:27 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Brathwaite was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Rosendale
• DWI: Samuel J. Keller, 30, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:25p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Keller was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
• DWI: Petra J. Poulos, 19, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:12p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Poulos was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
