Athens

• DWAI-drugs, unlicensed operation: Danielle F. Reynolds, 33, of Kingston, was arrested by Thruway state police in the town of Athens at 9p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, and was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving while ability impaired by drugs (previous conviction within 10years), both felonies. She was issued an appearance ticket for Athens Town Court.

New Baltimore

• Drugs: James E. Felter, 26, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:37p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, and was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Felter was released with a ticket for New Baltimore Town Court.

Rhinebeck

• Theft: Elizabeth A. Grant, 54, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 3:30p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, in the town of Rhinebeck and was charged with one count of grand larceny and seven counts of forgery (deed, will, contract), all felonies, stemming from an incident reported Nov. 14, 2019. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs: Nicholas A. Freeman, 24, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:55p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, and was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance. Freeman was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

• Grand larceny: Terry Monroe, 61, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:36 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, and was charged with grand larceny by extortion, a felony. Monroe was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
