The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• Drugs: Anthony A. Simmons, 25, of Port Ewen, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Simmons was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
• Drugs: Peter J. Bonavita, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bonavita was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
Esopus • DWI/brass knuckles:
Jordan M. Clemens, 31, and Nicholas J. Rudner, 28, both of the town of Ulster, were arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies with assistance from state police at about 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, following a motor vehicle crash on Clay Road. Clemens was charged with drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving, both felonies, and with several traffic infractions. Rudner was charged with possession of a weapon (brass knuckles) and obstruction of governmental administration, both misdemeanors, and with disorderly conduct, a violation.
Both were released with appearance tickets for Esopus Town Court.
Lloyd
• Drug possession: Superior K. Brown, 21, of Ellenville, and Davontay M. Schiskey,
20, of Kingston, were arrested by state police at Highland at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13. Both men were charged with possession of a narcotic drug, a felony. They were released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Red Hook
• Stalking: Alfredo C. Jalal, 33, of Red Hook, was arrested by Red
Hook police on Monday, Jan. 11, at 12:25 a.m. and was charged with stalking and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, along with harassment, a violation. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.
