Coxsackie

· DWI: Paul M. Chiesa, 30, of Selkirk, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie, at 2:38 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, and charged with resisting arrest and drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. Chiesa’s status was not immediatel­y available.

Esopus

· Weapon: John L. Cypher, 50, of Ulster Park, was arrested by members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, in Ulster Park and charged with possession of a weapon and menacing, both misdemeano­rs. Cypher allegedly threatened another person with a handgun. He was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.

Ellenville

· Possession of stolen

property: Tanisha L. Torres, 37, of Accord, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies on Monday, Jan.

18, and charged with two felony counts of possession of stolen property. Deputies stopped Torres’ vehicle in the village for an alleged traffic infraction and the resulting investigat­ion found that the vehicle was previously reported stolen from the town of Ulster, according to authoritri­es. Torres was released with an appearance ticket for Ellenville Village Court.

Lloyd

· Drugs: Soren C. Wilhemsen, 34, of Hopewell Junction, was arrested by Lloyd police on Monday, Jan. 18, and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Wilhemsen was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

· Contempt: Jeffrey S. Anderson,

50, of Clintondal­e, was arrested by Lloyd police on Friday, Jan. 1, on a warrant from Dutchess County Family Court for contempt of court. He was turned over to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Saugerties

· Contempt: Jose R. Ienuso, 31, of 33 Gage St., Kingston, was arrested by Saugerties police on Monday, Jan. 18, and charged with contempt of a court order, a misdemeano­r. Officers responding to a 911 call reporting an alleged verbal dispute on Partition Street in the village said a person alleged that Ienuso engaged in a verbal dispute in violation of a full stay-away order of protection. Ienuso was released with a ticket for Saugerties Village Court.

· DWI/reckless driving:

A 17-year-old unlicensed female driver was arrested by Saugerties police on Tuesday, Jan. 19, following a personal injury crash on Mike Kraut Road. She was charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving, reckless driving and driving without a license, as well as the traffic infraction of speeding. She was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court. At about 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report that a vehicle had crashed into a residence and was on fire with occupants inside. Arriving officers found that all the occupants of the

1998 Honda were out of the vehicle and that it had not struck the residence but had hit an unoccupied parked vehicle, police said. They said the Honda veered off the westbound shoulder of the roadway and into the yard at 61 Mike Kraut Road. The driver and her 19-yearold passenger were treated at the scene by paramedics from Diaz Ambulance and taken to the HealthAlli­ance Hospital Broadway Campus. The driver was not identified by police because of her age.
