Area business people ‘On the Move’
Alejandro Cordova has been promoted to first vice president of Human Resources at Ulster Savings Bank’s Kingston headquarters.
Cordova will work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the senior management team to ensure that HR strategy, policies and procedures support an environment that attracts, develops and retains top talent, the bank said in an announcement.
A Wappingers Falls resident, Cordova holds a master of business administration degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s of science degree in industrial relations and human resource management from Le Moyne College. He is a certified senior professional in human resources and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Active in the community, he is a Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress Fellow and serves on the boards for Ulster County Workforce as well as Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, & Ulster.
