• City of Kingston municipal buildings have reopened. Visitors are required to checkin at City Hall, 420 Broadway, for a health screening before visiting any other building. Visit kingston-ny.gov.

• Hudson Valley Honor Flight has suspended flights through June 30. The nonprofit organizati­on honors the nation’s veterans by transporti­ng them to Washington, D.C., to visit their memorials at no cost. • The Hudson River Maritime Museum, 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston is open from noon to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays for 30-minute visits by groups of up to four. Advance tickets are required. Go to hrmm.org.

• Glasco Fire Company, 139 Liberty St. Extension, Glasco, is hosting takeout-only fish fry events from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Fridays through April 2.

• American Legion Post No. 1298 in Port Ewen has resumed its monthly meetings starting in the Esopus Town Hall community room, 1 Town Hall Way, Port Ewen. All veterans are invited.

• The Ulster County Department of Motor Vehicles office has reopened for in-person services. Visit clerk. ulsterny.gov and dmv. ny.gov.

• Happy to Help Food Pantry is located at St. James United Methodist Church, 35 Pearl

The food pantry is only open on Sundays, from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Participan­ts are asked to follow COVID procedures by wearing masks, bringing in their own bags, entering through the Fair Street entrance, and observe social distancing. • The Kingston Winter Farmers’ Market takes place every other Saturday through April in the Senate Garage on North Front Street. The next one is on March 27. Online: kingstonfa­rmersmarke­t.com.

• The People’s Place Community Café at 779 Broadway, Kingston, is open to all for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. curbside service only.

• The People’s Place Food Pantry is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 17

St. James St., Kingston. Donations of fresh and shelf-stable foods are being accepted.

• The Stone Ridge Library, 3700 Main Street, (U.S. 209) is closed for browsing but is providing Curbside Service during regular hours: 1:30 to 7 p.m. Monday; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Closed Sundays. Patrons can request material on the library’s website, stoneridge­library.org and then call the circulatio­n desk at (845) 687-7023 from the parking lot. Circulatio­n staff will bring their materials to a bench at the library entrance. Online services are available 24⁄7; several virtual programs are also available.

• The People’s Place’s thrift store, boutique and donation programs are now closed until further notice. If anyone needs assistance securing clothing and essential household items, please call People’s Place directly, at (845) 338-4030.

• The Rhinebeck Village Hall is closed to the public, except for court and police matters.

• The Arts Society of Kingston’s gallery has reopened. Hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays; and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Visit askforarts.org.

• The Highland Public Library is open with limited services. Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2-6 p.m.; and Saturdays, noon to 2 p.m. Masks are required, and the number of people allowed in at one time will be limited. • The Rosendale Library has curbside pickup. Holds can be placed by calling (845) 658-9013 or going to rosendalel­ibrary.org. Print, fax and copy service also will be available at curbside by appointmen­t.

• The Hurley and West Hurley libraries have reopened. Patrons may browse the shelves, use the computers, fax materials and reserve items in an online catalog. Furniture has been rearranged for social distancing, and the libraries are offering hand sanitizer and wipes for computers. Returned books will be quarantine­d before re-entering circulatio­n. All patrons must wear masks and maintain social distance, and each building is limiting capacity. Both libraries still are offering curbside borrowing, and e-books and streaming remain available.

• The Balsam Lake Mountain Fire Tower in Arkville has reopened its top cab to visitors.

• The Food Pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, 72 Spring St., Kingston is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and

Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The pantry is closed on Mondays and Fridays. Wear a mask when picking up a bag of groceries at the door.

• The Friends of Historic Saugerties has canceled its monthly local history lectures at the Saugerties Public Library for the rest of 2020.

• The city of Kingston’s playground­s have reopened with health and safety rules.

• The Dutchess County Department of Motor Vehicles, 22 Market

St., Poughkeeps­ie, has resumed in-person license, permits and nondriver ID transactio­ns by appointmen­t only. Appointmen­ts may be made by calling (845) 486-2388 between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

• Coach House Players in Kingston has canceled the remainder of its 2020 season. This season’s shows are scheduled to be performed during the 2021 season. All season tickets that were purchased for the 2020 season will be honored for the 2021 season. More info: coachhouse­players.org.

• The city of Poughkeeps­ie has reopened its parks and skate park.

• The town of Ulster transfer station is open.

• Kingston’s Emergency Food Hotline has added a website, www. kingstonem­ergencyfoo­d.com. To provide meals and groceries to those in need across the Kingston City School District, the Emergency Food hotline, (888) 316-0879, was created to streamline the intake of requests.

• Performing Arts of Woodstock has canceled its 2020 season.
