Masten’s Men, Bowl is Life win RGS team titles

SAUGERTIES, N.Y. » Masten’s Men won the handicap team title and Bowl is Life took the scratch portion in the 15th annual RGS Tournament at the Bowlers Club.

Masten’s won with a 3,675 pin fall. The team, featuring Christopher Masten, Mike Coughlin, Matt Golub, Austin Masten and Jacob Ranzer, shared the $1,200 first prize.

The Hudson Valley Inspectors were second with 3,617.

Bowl is Life, with Adam Blank, Brett Thomas, Jeff Werner, Ryan Dutcher and C.J. Jansen posted a 3,323 scratch total to claim the $350 top prize.

Rebekah VanScoyk led the women with the high single (277) and series (691). Don O’Connor had the men’s high triple with a 238-280-246—764, while Roy Sherman Jr. posted the high game of 289.
