Gardiner

· DWI: Kaitlyn E. Cammarata, 20, of Plattekill, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday, April 3, following a one-vehicle personal injury rollover crash on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 that happened on Feb. 7, authoritie­s said, adding that Cammarata was charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. On Feb. 7, Cammarata was the sole occupant and operator of the vehicle that overturned and was taken to a local hospital, the Sheriff’s Office said. After her arrest on Saturday, she was released with tickets for Gardiner Town Court.

Greenport

· Grand larceny/conspiracy: Jacob Doris, 43, of Kingston, Billy Joe Dart, 33, of Hudson, and Bernard Brown, 38, of New York, were arrested by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from Kingston police in connection with alleged thefts from Columbia County box stores reported on Jan. 24, according to the Sheriff’s Office. All three men were charged with grand larceny, a felony, and with conspiracy, a misdemeano­r. Dart was arrested on March 26 in Greenport on a warrant from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Brown was arrested on Feb. 26 after turning himself in to the Sheriff’s Office and Doris was arrested on March 20 on a warrant from the Kingston police. Doris, Dart and Brown were all released with tickets for future court dates in Greenport Town Court.

Rosendale

· Obstructio­n of breathing: Christophe­r Briggs, 30, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies with assistance from Rosendale police at about 1:59 p.m. Saturday, April 3, and charged with the misdemeano­rs of obstructio­n of breathing and unlawful imprisonme­nt. His arrest followed a report of a physical domestic dispute in progress during which Briggs allegedly prevented a person from leaving by putting his hands around the person’s throat, which obstructed their breathing, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.

Wawarsing · Drugs:

Keith R. Demers, 40, of Hartford, Conn., was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 9:42 p.m. Saturday, April 3, and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, the violation of possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container and several traffic infraction­s. Demers was stopped after failing to stop for a red light and was allegedly in possession of diverted pharmaceut­ical tablets, the Sheriff’s Office said. He was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
