ROSEMARIE DAVIDSON

KINGSTON- Rosemarie Davidson, age 94, was surrounded by her loving family as she entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Rosemarie was born June 26, 1926, to the late Thomas and Helen (Manfro) Marabella. She grew up in Kingston, N.Y., and upon graduation from Nursing school in 1945, she joined the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps. She continued her nursing career as a registered nurse, and later, as a nurse practitioner for more than 40 years, retiring in 1988 from Mt. Carmel East Hospital. In 1950, Rosemarie married the love of her life, Theodore Edward Davidson, and they were happily married for 69 years. A dedicated wife and mother, Rosemarie was most content at home surrounded by her family. Rosemarie’s commitment to her faith was unwavering and she was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Parish in Gahanna for 58 years. Rosemarie is survived by her daughters, Dale Anne (Robert) Burnkrant of Pataskala, Ohio; Jeanne (Brian) Huffman of Sidney, Ojio; Helen (Brian) Jones of Carroll, Ohio; and Brenda (Troy) Hampton of Carroll, Ohio; son-in-law, David Foster of Gahanna, Ohio; brother, Thomas Marabella of Baltimore, Md.; 16 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren. Rosemarie is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; and daughter, Carol Ann Foster. The family would like to thank Capital City Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Parish, 807 Havens Corners Road, Gahanna, OH 43230.
