City of Kingston

• DWI: Lawrence M. Bigelow, 51, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:02p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and aggravated driving while intoxicate­d, both misdemeano­rs. Bigelow was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Leodegario Eustaquio Chavez, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:35p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Chavez was released with tickets for Kinston City Court.

• Drugs: Quinton Ruffin, 64, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:50a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, and was charged with manufactur­ing drug-related parapherna­lia, bail jumping and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeano­rs. Ruffin was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• Drugs: Jose M. Sanchez, 42, of Chatham, and Joseph C. Moore, 35, of Hudson, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:42 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, in the town of Castskill. Sanchez was charged with manufactur­ing drugrelate­d parapherna­lia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeano­rs. Moore was charged with manufactur­ing drug-related parapherna­lia, a misdemeano­r. Sanchez and Moore were released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

Lloyd

• Criminal mischief:

Anthony Denizard, 57, of Wappingers Falls, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, and was charged with criminal mischief, a felony, and with reckless endangerme­nt and reckless driving, both misdemeano­rs. Denizard was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

New Paltz

• DWI/drugs: Jonathan J. Keane, 31, of New Paltz, and Connor Weiss, 23, of

Stone Ridge, were arrested by state police at Highland at 11:34p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5. Keane, who was arrested in the town of New Paltz, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating

a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and driving while intoxicate­d, all misdemeano­rs. Weiss, who was arrested in the village of New Paltz, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Both were released with tickets for New Paltz Court.

Rhinebeck

• DWI: Meagan M. Callahan, 31, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, in the village of Rhinebeck and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Callahan was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Village Court.

Saugerties

• Contempt: Thomas J. Colon, 59, of Malden Turnpike, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 11:44 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, following an incident on Sparling Road, and was charged with criminal contempt of a court order, a felony, and with attempted assault, a misdemeano­r, after allegedly striking a person who had a no-harass order of protection in effect against him. Colon was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Victoria L. StarrSheel­ey, 27, of Westbrookv­ille, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, and was charged with manufactur­ing drugrelate­d parapherna­lia, criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny, all misdemeano­rs. Starr-Sheeley was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
