• Lifespring: Saugerties Adult Learning Community’s winter programming includes presentations in January and March as well as a mini-course series on Feb. 2 and 9, and is open to anyone interested in attending. All programs are free and will be held via Zoom with prior registration required. • The Ashokan Center will host a virtual conversation with children’s author and illustrator team Lesa Cline-Ransome and James Ransome. The event will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Jan. 16. via Zoom. Registration is $10 at ashokancenter.org/events.

• Saugerties Pro Musica will present a concert by Russian pianist Liana Paniyeva on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 3 p.m. at Saugerties United Methodist Church, 67 Washington Ave., Saugerties. • The Rhinecliff Volunteer Fire Company and Rhinebeck Grange No. 896will host soup sales at the firehouse, 17 Shatzell Ave. Orders are $10 for soup or chili, sold by the quart. • Performing Arts of Woodstock has postponed the production of “The Moors” and has rescheduled the play for June 2022.
• Family of Woodstock has postponed its planned gala to May 5, 2022.
