Undefeated Wallkill downs Red Hook

WALLKILL, N.Y. » Wallkill High’s unbeaten boys basketball team raised its record to 12-0 Friday, Jan. 21, with a big 58-44 victory over Red Hook.

Kyle Krebs scored 17 points, Jeremy Figueroa had 16 and Mat Shea eight to lead the Panthers, who are now 6-0 in the Mid-Hudson Athletic League.

Drake Krazewski had 12 points and Brendan Donohue 11 to pace Red Hook. Marlboro 76,

Saugerties 46

At Saugerties, Marlboro is now 6-0 in league play after a balanced effort from Chin Okasi (18 points), Collin Casey (13 points, seven rebounds), Matt Mahusky (11 points), Dylan Gunsett (10 points, six rebounds) and Mike Murphy (nine points, 13 rebounds).

Ethan Conrad and Niko Bocchimuzz­o scored 16 and 14 points, respective­ly, to lead Saugerties.

Roosevelt 79, Highland 41

At Hyde Park, Quadir Newton scored 17 points, Josiah Smith had 13, Jordan Blue added 12 and Dominick Corman hit for 10 to lead Roosevelt.

Aden Wiser and Dominic Valente scored 16 and 10 points, respective­ly, for Highland.

Pine Plains 82, Dover 38

At Pine Plains, Zach Strang scored 26 points and Logan Lydon 25 to guide the Bombers to victory. Also scoring in double figures for Pine Plains were Thomas Westpfal (14) and John Tomasetti (11).

Ellenville 95, Webutuck 39

At Ellenville, Rad Moreno had a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds, DJ McComb had 25 points and dished out eight assists and Jason KInscy scored 17 points to lead the (7-0) Blue Devils.

Spackenkil­l 46, Rhinebeck 41

At Poughkeeps­ie, Sean Lucas had 13 points and eight rebounds and Dan Collins grabbed nine rebounds to key Spackenkil­l’s win.
