City Of Kingston
DWI: Rony E. Caal-Pop, 21, of Kingston, was arrested at about 12:15a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors, according to state police at Ulster. CallPop was issued an appearance ticket in Kingston, police said.
Plattekill
Obstruct breathing: Carlos R. Rivera, 30, of Modena, was charged at about 8:46a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, in Plattekill with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, according to state police at Highland. Rivera was released without bail, police said.
Saugerties
DWI: Brock Purdy, 69, of Saugerties, was charged at about 11:39 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood/alcohol content at or exceeding .08%, both misdemeanors, according to state police at Ulster. He was issued an appearance ticket in Saugerties, police said. Contempt: Christine Diliberto, 45, of 55E. Bridge St., Saugerties, was charged at 7:53p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, and two counts of harassment, a violation, according to the Saugerties Police Department. Police said she became belligerent while being arraigned and the judge ordered her to be taken to a hospital for treatment. A new order of protection ordering Diliberto to stay away from the victim was issued by the court, according to authorities. Police said she was arrested again at 4:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at 55 E. Bridge St. and charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, and three counts of harassment, a violation, police said. Diliberto was arraigned before Ulster County Judge Brian Rounds and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000cash bail or $10,000 bond, police said.
Wawarsing
Drugs: Robert A. Depuy, 38, of Ellenville, was arrested at about 4:53p.m.Sunday, Jan. 23, and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors, according to state police at Wawarsing. He was issued an appearance ticket in Wawarsing, police said.
Contempt: Forest J. Bass, 42, of Kerhonkson, was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, at 9:30p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, in Wawarsing, according to state police at Wawarsing. He was issued an appearance ticket, police said.
