Kingston, Highland win; Saugerties falls

KINGSTON, N.Y. » Chad Keyser and Owen Niles scored three goals apiece Tuesday, May 17, leading Kingston High to a 1612 boys lacrosse victory over Pine Bush.

Hunter Mejias added two goals and two assists, Keegan Buffa and Cody Baker chipped in with two goals and an assist, McKinley Adin scored twice, Tyson Delisio had a goal and three assists, Chase Fromson added a goal and one assist and Keyser also had an assist to help guide the Tigers.

Buffa directed the Kingston offense, winning 21 of 23 faceoffs.

Alec Gorman had five goals and Terrence Coleman had four to pace Pine Bush.

Tyler Ostrom had seven saves for Pine Bush, while Griffin Klan and Marius Ryan-Morkys combined for 10.

Kingston, 10-5 overall, was to close out the regular season Wednesday, May 18, playing at Highland.

Highland 15, O’Neill 5

At Highland Falls, Frankie Guidi scored five goals and dished out one assist, Matt Castellani had three goals, Dean Klotz and AJ Palmer each had two goals and three assists, Chris Mooradian added two goals and one assist, and Logan Zehr tallied to lead (96) Highland.

Pat Howell had two goals and an assist and Colin August scored twice to pace James I. O’Neill.

Highland keeper Landon Zehr stopped 10 shots, while Max Alerici and John Novoselich combined for 11 for O’Neill.

Goshen 16, Saugerties 3 At Saugerties, Mario Alfieri had four goals and five assists, Gavin Duggan also had four goals, Enzo Pupo added three goals and an assist and Duane Schaffo chipped in with two goals and two assists to lead Goshen.

Robbie Freer had a goal and one assist and Ryan Olsen and Aiden Lydecker also scored for Saugerties. Joey Garcia and Thomas French combined to make 21 saves for the Sawyers.
