City of Kingston
Menacing: Martin Leebert, 21, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston Police at 6:28p.m. Thursday, May 19, on Murray Street, and was charged with menacing (weapon), a misdemeanor. Further information was not immediately available.
Endangering/obstruc
tion of breathing: Ronald Eugene McLeod, 24, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston Police at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, May 19, on Wiltwyck Avenue and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing, both misdemeanors. Further information was not immediately available.
Lloyd
Assault: A 16-year-old Westchester County youth was arrested by state police at Highland at 4p.m. Thursday, May 19, in the town of Lloyd and was charged with assault, a misdemeanor. State police did not identify the youth because of his age. The teen was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Marbletown
Forcible touching: Quran L. Ray, 25, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:27p.m. Thursday, May 19, in the town of Marbletown and was charged with forcible touching (intimate parts), a misdemeanor. Further information was not immediately available.
Saugerties
Family offense: Jeremiah Smith, 35, of Salem Street, Port Ewen, was arrested by Saugerties Police on Wednesday, May 18, and charged with aggravated family offense and criminal contempt, both felonies, in connection with an April 30domestic dispute on First Street in the village. Police said Smith had already fled by the time police arrived at the scene. Authorities said they located Smith on Wednesday and he was arrested and arraigned in Saugerties Village Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
