Active cases decline slightly in Dutchess County
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. » Dutchess County reported Saturday that active COVID-19 cases dipped slightly in the county.
The county’s online COVID-19 dashboard reported 319 active cases as Thursday, June 16, a decline of 10 from 329 on Wednesday. That was two more than the 327 on Tuesday, June 14.
Dutchess reported no new COVID-19 deaths as of Thursday, June 16 with the toll standing at 664 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. The county said it’s had 70,391 confirmed cases of the virus since the pandemic began.
Ulster County did not update its COVID-19 statistics on Saturday.
On Friday, Ulster reported that it had 150 active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday, June 16, or 16 more than the 134 reported on Wednesday, June, 15.
On Monday, June 13, the county reported 122 active cases.
Ulster County said Friday that there were no new deaths, leaving the number at 386 since the pandemic began in March 2020.
In all, there have been 43,964 confirmed cases with 43,428 recoveries.
