City Of Kingston
• Drugs: Jeffrey Traver,
39, of Saugerties, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 7:40 a.m. Friday, June 10, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (4counts), criminal use of drug paraphernalia (2 counts), aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and driving while registration suspended, all misdemeanors. The arrest followed a traffic stop during which it was discovered he allegedly possessed fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia. Traver was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
• Menacing: Taevion E. Roseberry, 23, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 10:01 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, on Garraghan Drive, and was charged with menacing with a weapon and assault with intent to cause physical injury, both misdemeanors. Roseberry was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
• Drugs: Julian O. Smith, 38, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, in the town of Catskill, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotics), both felonies.Smith was released pending an appearance in Catskill Town Court.
Cairo
• DWI: Wilbur J. Davis, 41, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:01pm. Tuesday, June 21, and was charged with driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent and driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors. Davis was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Lloyd
• DWI: Lauren E. Grotheer, 35, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Gardiner at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, and was charged with driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent and driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors. Grotheer was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Rosendale
• Drugs: Chantelle Walsh, 41, of Rosendale, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 11, on Dewitt Mills Road after officers responded to a report of a vehicle on the road occupied by an unconscious female. Officers found Walsh in the car with the vehicle running and the brakes engaged. After deputies determined there was no medical emergency and allegedly found methamphetamine in the vehicle, Walsh was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and with criminal use of drug paraphernalia (2 counts) and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors. Walsh was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
Saugerties
• DWAI-drugs: Lucien P. Hannah, 27, of Allentown, Pa., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:33 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Hannah was released with a ticket for Saugerties Town Court.
Town Of Ulster
• Weapon: Randy Cook, 38, of New Paltz, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 11:15 a.m. Monday, June 20, and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies, and with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. The arrest followed a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in the town of Ulster. An investigation found Cook withtwo sets of metal knuckles and cocaine, deputies said. Wawarsing
• Contempt: Joseph A. Guzman, 42, of Ellenville, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday, June 15, in the village of Ellenville, and charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt. On Tuesday, June 14, deputies received a complaint alleging Guzman had violated an active order of protection, which an investigation allegedly confirmed. He was arrested after deputies saw him in a vehicle on U.S. Route 209 and executed a warrant for the violation. He was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
