Active cases rise in Ulster County

KINGSTON, N.Y. » Active COVID-19 cases rose in Ulster County, the county reported Saturday.

Ulster County’s COVID-19 dashboard showed 142 cases as of Friday, June 24, up 11 from the 131 cases reported on Thursday and down five from the previous day.

The county reported no new deaths as of Friday, with the death toll remaining at 386 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

There were 24 hospitaliz­ations as of Thursday, June 23, unchanged from Wednesday.

Dutchess County did not update its COVID-19 statistics Saturday. On Friday, the county reported two new deaths, bringing its pandemic total to 666 since the pandemic began.

On Friday, June 24, Dutchess reported 258 cases as of Thursday, June 23, down 32 from the previous day.
