Gardiner

• Contempt: Mayson A. Forstell, 19, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, in the town of Gardiner, and was charged with criminal contempt and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, both misdemeano­rs. Forstell was held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Saugerties

• Drugs: Venus T. Hall,

56, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, in the town of Saugerties, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a felony. Further informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Shawangunk

• Unlawful surveillan­ce: A 14-year-old teen was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:57 p.m. Sunday, June 26, in the town of Shawangunk, and was charged with unlawful surveillan­ce and disseminat­ing a surveillan­ce image, both felonies. The teenager was released with tickets for Shawangunk Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• DWI: Kris E. Cox, 46, of Ruby, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, June 30, in the town of Ulster, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Cox was released to a third party pending a town court appearance.

Town of Wawarsing

• DWI: Tyler J. Davenport, 26, of Napanoch, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, and was charged with endangerin­g the welfare of a child, assault and criminal mischief, all misdemeano­rs, following reports of a physical domestic dispute. Police said Davenport struck the victim with a phone cord several times and burned the victim with a lit cigarette before fleeing the residence. Authoritie­s said police K-9 Kwin later tracked Davenport down in nearby wooded area. Davenport was arraigned in Rochester Town Court and was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
