City of Kingston

• Failure to register: Torrel Lee Skinner, 39, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 11:40a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at police headquarte­rs at 1 Garraghan Drive and was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, a felony. Further informatio­n was not immediatel­y available.

Esopus

• DWI: Eric A. Cook, 40, of Saugerties, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, after a traffic stop on Broadway and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r, and with a traffic infraction. Cook was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.

• Forged instrument:

Venancio Pop Sotz, 53, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, following a traffic stop on Broadway, and was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony, for allegedly driving a vehicle with a forged temporary registrati­on from Texas. Sotz was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.

Lloyd

• Forgery/identity theft: Dolfina Dierna, 61, of Franklin Lakes, N.J., was arrested by state police at Highland at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, and was charged with forgery (deed/will/contract) and identity theft, all felonies. Dierna was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• DWI: Brian D. Olmstead, 62, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:09 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, and was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicate­d and with driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeano­rs. Olmstead was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• DWI: Eric D. Horn, 47, of Hubert, N.C., was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeano­rs. Horn was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

• Stolen property: Jessica A. Bennett, 40, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:37 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
