Damian Ferraro rolls 300 at Saugerties Bowlers Club

SAUGERTIES, N.Y. >> Damian Ferraro rolled a perfect 300 game on the way to a league-high 776 series in the latest Corneau Constructi­on League men’s action at the Saugerties Bowlers Club.

Jeff Riozzi, who had a high game of 285, was next with a 708 series. Dave Scott, who rolled a high game of 257, was third with a 705 series.

Other top series (with their high games) were rolled by James Swanson (248-691), Greg Jones (261674), Chris Teitter (244674), Gary Schoepflin (266636), Bryan Burt (621), Scott Genthner (604), Nick Ivino (602) and George DaSilva (601). Steve Below had a high game of 237.

In the Sawyer Motors Classic, Chris Alberts led the way with a 791 series. He had a high game of 268.

Other top scores were rolled by Scott Haslam (256-713), Jared Mayr (255709), Rob Lukens (258-707), Chris Raftis (259-682), Jim Simmons (264-679), Joe Swart (278-674), Frank Heiser (650), Nick Beebe (644), Nick Ivino (635), Roy Sherman (252-634), Pete Van Etten (623), Dave Lowe (622), Matt Kordich (615), Dave Handlowich (614), John Webster (247-606) and Rickie Bernard (606).

High single-games were posted by Ronald K. Myers (246) and Bernie Edwards (248).

In the Wednesday Merchants League, Greg Jones rolled a 763 to lead all bowlers. His games were 268, 248 and 247.

Next on the women’s side were Sammi Shultis (249213-643), Kelly Johnson (492), Marisa Hayes (224470) and Patty Rennie (449). The 224 was a career-first 200 game for Hayes.

On the men’s side, James Swanson (236-676) led the way. Other top scores were recorded by David Skinner Jr. (660), David Skinner Sr. (248-649), John Cook Jr. (255-646), Mike Coughlin (640), Julian Handschuh (241-637), Chris Raftis (630), Ken Harkins (246611), Matthew Seyfarth (608), Alan Blanchard (236605) and Rudy Swanson III (603). Bob Lamont Jr. rolled a high game of 242.

In the Friday Night Mixed League, Paige Hanlowich led the women’s side with a 534 series. Other top women’s scores were rolled by Nita Slavin (512), Terri Van Tassell (470), Erica Snyder (434) and Patty Rennie (434).

On the men’s side, Steve Seigel had the top score (552). He was followed by Michael Milazzo (506), Daniel Phillips (503), Matt Golub (492) and Christophe­r Masten (485).

In Kingston’s High Hopes League, Wendy Barbieri rolled the high series with a 488 set. Other leading scores were posted by Andrea Hughes (479), Colleen Van Buren (461), Marge Bennett (455), Amy King (444), Debbie Rougier (438), Ellen Allard (437), Anne Rossini (432), Donna Utley (412), Margaret Moebius (404) and Rose Grant (401).
