Saugerties, NY – Noreen J. Mower died Friday, October 28, 2022. She was 77 years old. Born April 24, 1945, in Kingston, NY, she was the daughter of the late Janice Peck Schultz and John “Jack” Schultz. On November 24, 1962, she married the love of her life, William Mower. Noreen knew not a stranger as she would easily strike up a conversati­on with anybody! With friends and family, she was known to talk for hours on end! She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed many opportunit­ies to travel with her family and friends over the years. Noreen loved to cook and enjoyed her craft projects, always willing to generously teach or share her skills with all. She was a lifetime member of the Centervill­e Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and a member of “S.O.S” Support our Service People. Noreen is survived by three children, Steven Mower of Saugerties, Penny Chisholm and her husband Herbert of High Point, NC, and Stacy Reichlin and her husband Stanley of Long Island; a sister Karen Oulton (Dennis) of Sterling, VA, two brothers John Terry Schultz of Kingston, NY and Walter Mower of Saugerties, NY; five grandchild­ren: Justin Graham, Javeir Johnson, Evan (Jessica) Chisholm, Elliott Chisholm, & Tara Chisholm; and eight greatgrand­children: Dustin, Jayla, Zaniah, JaKobe, Jayanna, Zane, Kori, and Zentrue; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband William Mower, an infant son, Shane Michael, and a brother, Frederick Peck. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Buono Funeral Service, Inc., 100 Main Street, Saugerties, NY 12477. Noreen’s Son-in-law, Minister Herbert Chisholm, will officiate. Friends and family visitation is Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at Buono Funeral Service, Inc.
