SUNY Ulster hosts financial aid, arts program sessions
STONE RIDGE, N.Y. >> SUNY Ulster will host informational sessions in November where prospective students can learn about the arts programs at the college as well as financial aid.
“Discover the Arts” takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.. The event offers prospective students the opportunity to participate in an optional portfolio review of their work and see a SUNY Ulster Student Works Showcase.
The itinerary also includes a presentation about the Fine Arts Program, an application workshop and tours of the Gallery, Print Shop, Mac Lab and Studio and inner Space.

Then on Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon, SUNY Ulster’s Financial Aid Day will offer high school seniors planning on attending any SUNY school hands-on assistance with completing their free application for federal student aid, or FAFSA.
SUNY Ulsters admissions staff will also be on hand to speak with those interested in learning more about the college and its programs.
Campus tours will also be offered.

Those looking to complete the FAFSA should bring federal student aid ID and passwords for parents and students (register for an FSA ID at studentaid.gov); 2021 tax documents including federal and state tax returns, W-2 statements, and other income statements; 2021 untaxed income information, such as child support paid or received; asset information; driver’s license (student); social security numbers for student and parent; and alien registration card for permanent residents.
