• Dutchess County’s ThinkDifferently will provide a sensory-sensitive live storytelling performance of David Gonzalez’s “Talking Birds and Golden Fish” Thursday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Bardavon, at 35 Main St. Poughkeepsie. This collection of inspirational animal tales is both fun and educational. The Sound will be kept down and the lights up to accommodate those with sensory issues. • St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church at 2578state Route 212, Woodstock, is holding its Book, Bake and Chili sale on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sample a wide variety of chili and baked goods, including cookies, bread and other desserts and pies ready to pop in the oven for the holidays. The sale will also feature hundreds of nearly new books. There will be a 10 percent discount for those who served in the military in honor of Veterans Day.

• The Wiltwyck Quilters will have a Zoom meeting Saturday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. • The Hudson Valley Collective of the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama presents an evening of psychodrama Friday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Boughton Place at 150 Kisor Road Highland, N.Y. The open session Navigating Thanksgiving featuring Judy Swallow will examine the challenges surrounding Thanksgiving. The event is a fundraiser for Boughton Place. • The Clinton Historical Society will have its annual Holiday Craft and Gift Fair on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the

Creek Meeting House, 2433 Salt Point Turnpike, Clinton Corners. Local crafters will be selling their items. The society will be selling holiday decorations along with homemade baked goods. There will also be homemade soup for lunch, to eat in or take out. Proceeds from the sale go to support their mission.

• The Group Holiday Show and Sale takes place Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m and Sunday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 .m. at the Delamater Conference Center of the Beekman Arms, 6387 Mill Street (U.S. Route 9), Rhinebeck. The event will feature the work of 14 area craftspeople working in glass, metal, clay, paper and textiles.

• The exhibition “Guiding the Currents” featuring the works of Dutch-born Hudson Valley resident Marieken Cochius, runs at SUNY Ulster’s Muroff Kotler Visual Arts Gallery in Stone Ridge through Nov. 29. • The Poné Ensemble for New Music will present its fall concert on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. at the Old Dutch Church, 272 Wall Street, Kingston. The program will feature “Sextuor (Sextet)” by French Les Six composer Francis Poulenc. A duet for violin and viola by Stanley Walden, known for his work on the avantgarde theatrical review “Oh! Calcutta!” will be premiered. Other works will include “Acadia for Oboe, Viola, and Piano” by ensemble’s own Shirley Hoffman Warren, “Fanmi Imèn for Flute and Piano by Valerie Coleman, “Duet for Flute and Viola” by Malcolm Arnold and “The Water Sprites for Flute, Voice and Piano” by Amy Beach (1867-1944). Admission is free, although a $20 donation is suggested.

• The Friends of the Saugerties Public Library will host its annual wine and cheese fundraising event at Total Tennis at 1811Old Kings Highway, Saugerties Nov. 16, at 6:30p.m. A speaker will be announced at a later date.
