Catskill
• DWI: Christopher G. Singleton, 47, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:08a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, in the town of Catskill and was charged with driving while intoxicated (first offense) and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding 0.18% (more than twice the legal limit, no prior convictions), both misdemeanors. Singleton was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Red Hook
• DWI: Jeffrey Turner, 52, of Tivoli, was arrested by Red Hook police at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, on state Route 9G in the town following a traffic stop and was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and two counts of drunken driving, all misdemeanors. Turner was driving with a 0.23% blood-alcohol content, nearly three times the legal limit, police said. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.
Saugerties
• Criminal contempt/ stalking: Lyle Cook, 37, of Olivebridge, was arrested by Saugerties police on Thursday, Feb. 16, in connection with an incident on Sunday, Feb. 12. Cook was charged with criminal contempt of a court order, stalking and aggravated harassment, all misdemeanors. Police said Cook was arrested on a warrant stemming from a domestic dispute. He was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail pending a further court appearance.
