Shawangunk
• DWI: Racheal E Houghton, 54, of Wappingers Falls, was arrested by state police at Highland in the town of Shawangunk on Thursday, Feb. 23, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.08%. Houghton was released with tickets to Shawangunk Town Court.
Town Of Ulster
• Drugs, criminal mischief, endangering:
Stephen Marinello, 34, of the town of Ulster, was arrested by Town of Ulster Police at 6:44p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, after police received a request to check on the welfare of a man inside the Dollar General Store at 1973 Ulster Ave. Marinello, who was found with cocaine, was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court. On Thursday, Feb. 23, at 12:07 a.m., Marinello was arrested by Ulster town police again, on two counts of criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors, stemming from a domestic dispute at a Glenerie
Boulevard residence. Police said Marinello had struck a female victim, causing minior injuries, and smashed her phone when she attempted to call 911, in the presence of her daughter. He was also charged with harassment, a violation. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim by Town Justice Susan Kesick, who ordered Marinello to reappear in Ulster Town Court at a later date.
