The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system:
City of Kingston
• Drugs: Nicholas A. Vladich Jr., 22, and Nicholas A. Vladich, 53, both of Kingston, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:40a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 in the city of Kingston. Vladich Sr. was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Vladich Jr. was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Both men were released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Gardiner
• Forcible touching: Alixandro A. Peraza Varela, 44, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland on Friday, Feb. 24, and was charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor. Further information was not immediately available.
Lloyd
• DWI: Tyler S. Smith, 19, of Port Ewen, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:29 p.m. Friday, Feb.
24, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Smith was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
• DWI: Dejonn A. Chambers, 26, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:03 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the village of New Paltz and was charged with driving while intoxicated (two previous convictions within 10 years) and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both felonies. Chambers was released pending a Village Court appearance.
Town of Rochester
• Forcible touching: David Cruz Gomez, 29, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and was charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor. Cruz Gomez was released with tickets for Rochester Town Court.
• Burglary: Matthew O. Dunn, 31, of Keene, New Hampshire, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and was charged with burglary and criminal mischief, both felonies. Further information about Dunn’s status was not immediately available.
Saugerties
• DWI: Robert Valley, 55, was arrested by the Saugerties Police Department at 7:29p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21on West Bridge Street, and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. Valley was also charged with harassment, a violation. Police said Valley struck the victim and a child during a domestic dispute. Police said Valley was released on his own recognizance with tickets for Saugerties Town Court following the issuance of a stay-away order of protection on behalf of the victims.
Woodstock
• DWI: Eric Tischler, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:04 p.m. Friday, Feb.
24, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Tischler was released with tickets for Woodstock Town Court.
