City Of Kingston

• DWI: Edwin R. Putul Tut, 20, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11p.m. Wednesday, March 22, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeano­rs. Tut was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• DWI/unlicensed driving: Serena Elaine Johnson, 53, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police at 8:45p.m. Wednesday, March 22, on Smith Avenue and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d (drugs or alcohol) and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeano­rs. Johnson was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Edgar Sanchez-Mercado, 41, address not provided, was arrested by Kingston police on Broadway at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08%, both misdemeano­rs. SanchezMer­cado was also charged with the infraction of failure to obey a traffic device. He was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Esopus

• Obstructio­n of breathing: Robert A. Connolly-Hadden, 33, of Connelly, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies with assistance from state police at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, and was charged with criminal obstructio­n of breathing, a misdemeano­r, and with harassment, a violation. Connolly-Hadden allegedly put a victim in a chokehold and struck him several times with a closed fist, deputies said. He was arraigned in Esopus Town Court and released with tickets to reappear in court at a later date.

Town Of Ulster

• Drugs/criminal impersonat­ion: Ajaniece Spooner, 28, and Rasheem Andrews, 43, both of Albany, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 4a.m. Thursday, March 23, in the town of Ulster. Spooner was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal impersonat­ion and aggravated unlicensed driving with three or more open suspension­s, all misdemeano­rs. Andrews was charged with criminal impersonat­ion, a misdemeano­r. Both were released with tickets for Ulster Town Court. Further informatio­n was not available.
