• The play “God of Carnage” continues at Mescal Hornbeck Community Center, 56Rock City Road, Woodstock. • A production of the Shakespear­e play “Hamlet” will be shown at the Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck, 661Route 308, Rhinebeck through Sunday, March 24. • The Staatsburg­h State Historic Site has begun tours, dubbed “The Real Gilded Age,” Saturdays in March at 11 a.m. at 75 Mills Mansion Drive, Staatsburg. Inspired by the HBO series “The Gilded Age,” the tours will take attendees through the historic Mills Mansion. • Swedish folk act Sweden’s Lena Jonsson Trio will perform at the Ashokan Center at 477 Beaverkill Road, Olivebridg­e, on Friday, March 15, at 7 p.m. Lena Johnson Trio blends Swedish

• Kingston High School Theatrics will present “Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical” for performanc­es Friday, March 15, at 7p.m., Saturday, March 16, at 2p.m. and Sunday, March 17, at 4p.m. in the Wendell A. • A St. Patrick’s Day concert will take place Sunday, March 17, at 3p.m. at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, 2578 state Route 212, Woodstock. Performing will be 17-yearold Ben Wien, a pianist in the Juilliard program in New York City. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, among other venues. The program will include works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Bach. Admission is free, although donations will be welcome.

• The Movies with Spirit series continues with a screening of the “drama “Great Freedom” on Saturday, March 16, at 7p.m. at the Unitarian Universali­st Congregati­on of the Catskills, 320Sawkill Road, town of Ulster. The film centers around a gay man in post-Nazi West Germany who was arrested and imprisoned for decades after the war for the “crime” of his sexuality, a descriptio­n said. Hans Hoffman (Franz Rogowski) is one of the men found guilty in Sebastian Meise’s film. During his confinemen­ts, he ends up bonding with his cellmate and convicted murderer Viktor (Greg Friedrich), who is serving a life sentence. The 116-minute film is rated R. • A screening and discussion of the film “The Disappeara­nce of Shere Hite” will take place on Saturday, March 16, at 4 p.m. at the Rosendale Theatre, 408 Main St., Rosendale. • The Olive Free Library Associatio­n’s upcoming exhibition, “In Search of the Goddess,” will open with a reception on Saturday, March 16, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Olive Free Library, 4033State Route 28A, West Shokan.
