Obituary policy

The Daily Local News publishes obituaries of local interest as part of its news report each day. Paid obituaries may be submitted by private individuals (subject to verification) as well as funeral homes. Payment may be made by check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Obituaries may be called in to 610-235-2687 from 8:30a.m. to 5p.m. only Mondays through Fridays, faxed to 610-430-1180 or e-mailed to obits@dailylocal. com. Please do not include full credit card information in e-mails. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, obituaries are accepted 8:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. by fax or e-mail ONLY. Please call 610-235-2654after 4:30p.m. to confirm receipt. Cancellations of previously submitted obituaries will only be accepted before 5p.m. on weekdays.
