In the latest incident, $3,000 in cosmetics were stolen in New Garden. Surveillance video shows suspects.

NEWGARDEN » More than $3,000 worth of cosmetic products were stolen Wednesday from a pharmacy in the 700 block of Newark Road, police said.

Two men entered the CVS pharmacy twice, according to the New Garden Police Department. They first entered around 8 p.m. and returned about an hour later, police said. Both times the men allegedly stole large amounts of cos- metic products and loaded them into a car outside. Employees did not discover the thefts until after the second set of thefts, police said.

After leaving the store the two men drove off in a light-colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai Sonata, and headed south onto Gap Newport Pike (Route 41), police said.

Investigators said store employees told them it was the sixth similar theft targeting CVS stores in the area recently.

The first suspect was de- scribed as a black man who wore a gray pullover hooded-sweatshirt and black sweatpants, police said. The second man was described as a black man in a zippered black hooded-sweatshirt, a black knit cap and gray sweatpants with red writing on the pant leg.

Police released surveillance images taken from the store and asked that anyone who may recognize the suspects or who has information about the theft to contact police at 610-268-2907, extension 222.
