C. Geoffrey Ruth, 72, died Sat., June 18, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvan­ia, Phila., PA.

He was the husband of Lois E. Pearson Ruth.

Born June 19, 1943 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Ruth and the late Heleyn McMenanin Rodeback and step-son of the late George Rodeback.

Geoffrey attended West Chester Friends Elementary School, graduated from West Chester High School, Class of 1961 and then graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in South Korea as a First Lieutenant. Upon returning to the United States, he started his first and only job at Avon Products in Newark, DE, retiring in 1998.

He loved photograph­y, specifical­ly for the West Chester University Golden Rams Football Team. He enjoyed golfing, as well as traveling around the United States. He was also very active in the Golden Rams Football Club.

In addition to his wife, Geoffrey is survived by his sister, Cindy Blackley (George), niece, Kristen Dye (Paul), nephew Brian Blackley (Shannon) and great niece Hayden Blackley, all of Columbia, SC.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Sat., June 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at DellaVecch­ia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 610-696-1181www. DellaFH.com, followed by a luncheon reception from 12:00 noon – 3:00 p.m. at Timothy’s Restaurant, 929 S. High St., West Chester, PA.

Interment will be private.
