John F. Traexler of Glenmoore
John F. Traexler, Jr., 57, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” A. Kane, sharing 24 years of marriage together.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Dolores Pardini Traexler, of Winter Park, FL, and the late John F. Traexler, Sr.
John was a 1977 graduate of Haverford High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Pennsylvania, and a Professional Engineer certification. After college he was employed by Jacob’s Engineering. John then formed his own company, Facilities Partners, providing engineering services for construction.
John was a car enthusiast and car collector. He also was a fan of Formula 1 racing. In his spare time, John enjoyed working in his yard with his “big tractor”. John had a love for cooking, and had a reputation for being a phenomenal gourmet cook.
In addition to his wife and mother, John is survived by his brothers, Thomas Traexler, husband of Amanda Suthers, of Kenya, and William Traexler, of Winter Park, FL, and his sister, Kathy Traexler, of Winter Park, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, at St. Elizabeth Church, 100 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, where family and friends can call from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
