Ethel Margaret Constable, 84, went home to be with her personal Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 30, 2016. She is singing and rejoicing in Heaven, with her loved ones and praising her Savior Jesus.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Edwin Constable, Sr., with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Ethel was the daughter of the late James Venoe Faddis, Sr., and Reta Mae Werntz Faddis, both of Parkesburg.
She was a 1950 graduate of Parkesburg High School where she enjoyed being a cheerleader.
Ethel was a member of Harvest Worship Center and Upper Octorara Church.
She was a happy homemaker, raising her six children while caring for her own mother. Ethel truly enjoyed her precious moments with her children and grandchildren. She loved reading the Bible, listening to WDAC and WOEL Christian Radio, sharing her faith, and being a prayer warrior for everyone!
Ethel loved her flowers, and enjoyed spending time in her yard gardening, in what she called her “Longwood Gardens Tour.” She dearly loved her white cat, Marshmallow, and enjoyed feeding all of the outdoor kitties who came to mooch at her house!
She is survived by her 6 children, Jack Constable, Jr. (Doris), Audrey Pfitzenmeyer (David), Cheryl Catanese (Eddie), Julia Peachey, (Earl), Beverly Constable (George), and Larry Constable (Sue). God blessed her with 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren whom she dearly loved! She is survived by a brother, Leon Faddis (Giny), a sister Elaine Garrett, and many adoring nieces and nephews.
