Ethel Mar­garet Con­sta­ble of Parkes­burg

Ethel Mar­garet Con­sta­ble, 84, went home to be with her per­sonal Sav­ior Je­sus Christ on Fri­day, Septem­ber 30, 2016. She is singing and re­joic­ing in Heaven, with her loved ones and prais­ing her Sav­ior Je­sus.

She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Ed­win Con­sta­ble, Sr., with whom she shared 54 years of mar­riage. Ethel was the daugh­ter of the late James Ve­noe Fad­dis, Sr., and Reta Mae Werntz Fad­dis, both of Parkes­burg.

She was a 1950 grad­u­ate of Parkes­burg High School where she en­joyed be­ing a cheer­leader.

Ethel was a mem­ber of Har­vest Wor­ship Cen­ter and Up­per Oc­torara Church.

She was a happy home­maker, rais­ing her six chil­dren while car­ing for her own mother. Ethel truly en­joyed her pre­cious mo­ments with her chil­dren and grand­chil­dren. She loved read­ing the Bible, lis­ten­ing to WDAC and WOEL Chris­tian Ra­dio, shar­ing her faith, and be­ing a prayer war­rior for ev­ery­one!

Ethel loved her flow­ers, and en­joyed spend­ing time in her yard gar­den­ing, in what she called her “Long­wood Gar­dens Tour.” She dearly loved her white cat, Marsh­mal­low, and en­joyed feed­ing all of the out­door kit­ties who came to mooch at her house!

She is sur­vived by her 6 chil­dren, Jack Con­sta­ble, Jr. (Doris), Audrey Pfitzen­meyer (David), Ch­eryl Catanese (Ed­die), Ju­lia Peachey, (Earl), Bev­erly Con­sta­ble (Ge­orge), and Larry Con­sta­ble (Sue). God blessed her with 12 grand­chil­dren and 17 great grand­chil­dren whom she dearly loved! She is sur­vived by a brother, Leon Fad­dis (Giny), a sis­ter Elaine Gar­rett, and many ador­ing nieces and neph­ews.

She was pre­de­ceased by her brother, James Fad­dis, Jr., and wife Mary, broth­erin-law, Robert Gar­rett, Sr., and her son-in-law, Vincent Catanese.

Home­com­ing ser­vices will be held at Up­per Oc­torara Church, 1121 Oc­torara Trail, Parkes­burg, PA 19365, on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 8, 2016. View­ing will be from 8:30 to 10:30 am, fol­lowed by a ser­vice at 11:00 AM.
