Mitchell R. Miller of Coatesville

Mitchell R. Miller, 55, passed away Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 9, 2016 at Brandy­wine Hos­pi­tal. Mitch was born in Lan­caster and was a 1979 grad­u­ate of Twin Val­ley High School.

He worked as a car­pen­try fore­man for Phil Hert­zler Con­struc­tion and co-owned Au­to­matic Tele­phone Sys­tems in Broomall and Ace Net­work Services in West Ch­ester.

He was an ad­mirable man, and de­voted him­self to his fam­ily and friends. He left a le­gacy of love, com­pas­sion, and char­ity - self­lessly putting other’s needs ahead of his own. His tremen­dous heart reached the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Hunt­ing, trap­ping, fish­ing and farm­ing were some of his fa­vorite pas­times through­out his life. He was a mem­ber of Hopewell Chris­tian Fel­low­ship.

Mitch is sur­vived by his fa­ther Mau­rice R. “Rip” Miller, Jr., hus­band of Deanna of Den­ver, PA and his mother He­len Rock of New Mex­ico; four sons, Paul Miller, hus­band of Sa­man­tha of Li­titz, Jonathan Miller, hus­band of Melodie of Reading, Sam Miller of Reading and Ja­cob Miller of Coatesville; nine grand­chil­dren, Katie, So­phie, Velic­ity, Mitchell, Eli­jah, Olivia, Lizzy Pearl and Lilly Miller and Maya Mur­phy; four si­b­lings, Michael R. Miller, hus­band of Jill, Matthew R. Miller, hus­band of Clar­isa, Latta White, hus­band of Donna and Kin­dra, wife of Brian Eby; and his nieces and neph­ews Reg­gie, Tyler, Maria, Jade, and Justin Miller.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held 11 AM Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 15, 2016 at the Mor­gan­town Com­mu­nity Church, 4221 Main Street, Elver­son, PA 19520, with Pas­tor Bill Wright and Pas­tor Merle G. Stoltz­fus of­fi­ci­at­ing. The view­ing will take place from 9:30 to 11 AM at the church. In­ter­ment will be pri­vate. In lieu of flow­ers, kindly con­sider mail­ing a me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tion to Mor­gan­town Com­mu­nity Church - Memo BMX Skate Min­istry.
