Henderson duo leads Ches-Mont doubles semifinali­sts

Top-seeded Amanda Baxter and Iswarya Vel of West Chester Henderson head the list of semifinali­sts at the Ches-Mont League National Division Girls Tennis Doubles Tournament on Friday at West Chester Henderson.

Baxter and Vel will face Henderson teammates Jessica Liu and Hannah Baxter, who defeated Amanda Ngyuen and Maddie Russell of West Chester East, in three sets.

The other semifinal will feature Holly Koons and Lilly Shi of Downingtow­n West taking on Olivia Davis and Isabel De Cecco of Downingtow­n East.
