OPEN SPACE RUNS IN COATESVILLE

PUMPKIN RUN IN OAKS

Where: Lower Perkiomen Valley Park, 101 New Mill Road More Details: The 5K and 1-mile fun run is organized by the Pennsylvania Tourette Syndrome Alliance. All 5K participants will receive an attractions pass for the Shocktoberfest. The cost for the 5K is $20 and the 1-mile run is $10. DINING WITH DIABETES IN LEESPORT
When: Class begins Nov. 2 Where: Berks County Agricultural Center, 1238 County Welfare Road More Details: This six-week program is for adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes as well as their families. The classes will include meal planning, recipes, physical activity and more. The session will begin Nov. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. but the registration deadline is Oct. 28. The cost is $15 per individual.
