Fall into fashion with active wear

From hoodies to tennis shoes, active wear is now just as fashionable outside the gym as it is inside it.

Allyssa Manning, marketing director for the brand RBX Active, said women’s fitness clothing has new and fun styles every season. Women’s fitness is a huge trend right now, she said. Recent high temperatures aside, fall season is upon us and so are the new fashions for the active woman. Below, Manning provides some of the trends that women can expect to see in active wear this season.

Colors & Prints: This season includes a lot of fun, bold and colorful prints or patterns. Athletic leggings with have bold colors like blue, maroon and more. The leggings will also have tummy control tops for compression and more support.

Mesh: The material is a very popular design for women’s active wear this fall. A lot of the leggings will have a conservative take on mesh along certain parts of the body to provide ventilation such as the back or ankles. The mesh allows the material to dry faster and is great for high-sweat zones.

Cowl-Neck: Many fall fitness sweaters and sweatshirts will have a cowl-neck design. It’s a style of neckline that can be draped around in folds. It’s almost like having a scarf attached to a sweater and women can wear the neckline in several fun and different ways.
