The Ber­wyn Fire Com­pany vis­ited Tar­leton School in Ber­wyn where fire­fight­ers ex­plained to the chil­dren what to do in the event of a fire. The in­tent was to teach chil­dren to not fear fire­fight­ers but to make them­selves vis­i­ble to the fire­fight­ers in the event of an emer­gency.

The visit was part of Fire Preven­tion Week ac­tiv­i­ties.

Tar­leton School, on Water­loo Ave. in Ber­wyn, ed­u­cates chil­dren from 2 ½ years of age through the first grade. Tar­leton is li­censed through the Com­mon­wealth of Penn­syl­va­nia as a Pri­vate Aca­demic School.
