Edward M. Martin of Downingtown

1939-2016

Edward M. Martin, 77, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his home. He was husband of Annie L. (McCorkle) Martin with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in West Bradford Twp. he was the son of the late Horace Frederick Martin and Mabel Hedrick Martin.

Ed was an area resident all his life. He was employed for 45 years by the Lenape Forge retiring in 2007 as a machinist.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Shelly Yost of Honey Brook, Mike Martin of Dowingtown, and John Smith of Downingtown, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Joseph Dussell and one brother Fred Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 11 AM at the Romansville United Methodist Church, 1859 Strasburg Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing at the church from 10 to 11am.
