C. Thomas Micken of Downingtown

C. Thomas Micken, age 62, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Paoli Hospital supported by his family, friends and hospice care.

He is survived by his loving wife Laurie (nee Pyle) with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born on December 8, 1953 in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was the son of late Dr. Charles Martin and Mary Kreider Micken.

Tom was co-owner of On The Go Kids in Downingtown with his wife Laurie.

Tom had an innate calmness, patience and kindness that will never be forgotten. His many skills and immense knowledge will be missed. Tom had a love of the sea, travel adventure, and love for his family.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by sons Matthew and Philip, nieces Christina & Cynthia and nephew Kyle.

He was predeceased by his brother Robert and sister-in-law Leslie.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 12:30 P.M. at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown where friends and co-workers may visit with the family from 11:00 to 12:15 P.M. (casual dress requested.) Interment Private.
