John M. Torello of Kennett Square

John “Duke” M. Torello, age 70, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Amy Davidson Torello, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice Hickey Torello.

Duke worked at Agilent technologi­es, Wilmington, DE, for 45 years, retiring in 2010.

He was a member of the Italian American Club in Kennett Square, PA.

Duke enjoyed golfing, cooking, playing softball, watching sports on TV, and especially watching his grandchild­ren play sports and all activities they enjoyed. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends.

He was a Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfathe­r and will be missed by all.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, John J. Torello of Avondale, PA; one daughter, Tina M. Miller and her husband Steve of Toughkenam­on, PA; two brothers, Joseph Torello of Cherry Hill, NJ and Richard Torello of Florida; one sister, Rosalie Porter of Wilmington, DE and five grandchild­ren.

He was predecease­d by one sister, Jackie Baird.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Monday evening, November 7, 2016 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. His Funeral service will be at 11:00 Tuesday morning, November 8, 2016 at the Unionville Presbyteri­an Church, 815 Wollaston Road (Route 82 & Wollaston Road), Unionville, Pa. Burial will be in the London Grove Friends Cemetery, London Grove, PA.
