John M. Torello of Ken­nett Square

John “Duke” M. Torello, age 70, of Ken­nett Square, PA, passed away on Tues­day, Novem­ber 1, 2016 at his res­i­dence. He was the hus­band of Amy David­son Torello, with whom he shared 50 years of mar­riage.

Born in Wilm­ing­ton, DE, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice Hickey Torello.

Duke worked at Agi­lent tech­nolo­gies, Wilm­ing­ton, DE, for 45 years, re­tir­ing in 2010.

He was a mem­ber of the Ital­ian Amer­i­can Club in Ken­nett Square, PA.

Duke en­joyed golf­ing, cook­ing, play­ing soft­ball, watch­ing sports on TV, and es­pe­cially watch­ing his grand­chil­dren play sports and all ac­tiv­i­ties they en­joyed. He also en­joyed be­ing with his fam­ily and friends.

He was a Beloved Hus­band, Fa­ther and Grand­fa­ther and will be missed by all.

In ad­di­tion to his wife, he is sur­vived by one son, John J. Torello of Avon­dale, PA; one daugh­ter, Tina M. Miller and her hus­band Steve of Toughke­n­a­mon, PA; two broth­ers, Joseph Torello of Cherry Hill, NJ and Richard Torello of Florida; one sis­ter, Ros­alie Porter of Wilm­ing­ton, DE and five grand­chil­dren.

He was pre­de­ceased by one sis­ter, Jackie Baird.

You are in­vited to visit with his fam­ily and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 on Mon­day evening, Novem­ber 7, 2016 at the Kuzo & Grieco Fu­neral Home, 250 West State Street, Ken­nett Square, PA. His Fu­neral ser­vice will be at 11:00 Tues­day morn­ing, Novem­ber 8, 2016 at the Unionville Pres­by­te­rian Church, 815 Wol­las­ton Road (Route 82 & Wol­las­ton Road), Unionville, Pa. Burial will be in the Lon­don Grove Friends Ceme­tery, Lon­don Grove, PA.
