Mary Frances Flana­gan of Coatesville

Mary Frances Flana­gan, 51, of Coatesville, passed away Fri­day, Novem­ber 11, 2016 sur­rounded by her fam­ily.

Born in Co­lum­bia, she was the daugh­ter of Au­drey (Boyd) Lively of Co­lum­bia and the late J. Charles Mowrer.

For the last seven years Fran has been an em­ployee of Weg­mans. She worked in mul­ti­ple per­ish­able food de­part­ments, and loved work­ing for the com­pany and those she worked with. Dur­ing her six­teen years in Florida, she was a small busi­ness owner. She owned a pest con­trol com­pany called Great­fully Dead Pest Man­age­ment.

She loved liv­ing in Florida, go­ing to the beach, read­ing, and build­ing puz­zles. She was also a huge NCIS fan, and owned ev­ery episode.

Her fam­ily was the most im­por­tant part of Fran’s life. She loved her chil­dren and grand­chil­dren un­con­di­tion­ally. Be­ing a Nana brought her great hap­pi­ness.

Sur­viv­ing in ad­di­tion to her mother are three chil­dren: Heather E. Flana­gan, Coatesville; Shan­non M. Flana­gan, Downingtown; Sean P. Flana­gan, Coatesville; two grand­chil­dren: Jaxson Cautin, Coatesville; Lil­lian Flana­gan, Downingtown, and eight broth­ers and sis­ters: Cathy, mar­ried to Richard Shi­ley, Lan­caster; J. Charles Mowrer III, mar­ried to Brenda Mowrer, Water­ville; Terri, mar­ried to Tod Gil­more, Downingtown; Jen Hollinger, Co­lum­bia; Glenn, mar­ried to Mar­i­anne Mowrer, Mountville, Thomas, mar­ried to Jane Mowrer, Knoxville, TN; Stan, mar­ried to Terri Mowrer, May­town; Marge Mowrer, Akron; and 21 nieces and neph­ews.

She was pre­ceded in death by a brother, David Mowrer, a sis­ter, Pa­tri­cia Watkins, and her step fa­ther, Gor­don Lively.

Rel­a­tives and friends are in­vited to her Vis­i­ta­tion 10:00-11:00 a.m. Fri­day Novem­ber 18, 2016 at Grace Covenant Church lo­cated at 444 Cream­ery Way, Ex­ton, PA 19341, fol­lowed by her Memo­rial Ser­vice 11:00 a.m. with a lun­cheon to fol­low at the church.
