THANKING VETERANS

Lt. Col. Nathan Minami, Master Sgt. Mark Hurning, and two cadets from the Valley Forge Military College visited senior citizens at Atria Senior Living in Willistown on Friday. At a special luncheon on the third floor, 15 veterans, Minami, Hurning, and the two cadets swapped stories over a four-course meal, which included filet mignon. In order to thank them for their service to the country, each resident and guest received an American flag tie.
