Helen E. Sexton of Coatesville

Helen E. Sexton, 90, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward G. Sexton, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2010.

Born in Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Magdaline Thom Schingeck.

Helen worked at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lionville for 21 years. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church, West Brandywine.

She is survived by her children, Katherine B. Sexton-Smith (Kenny), Barbara I. Vidolin (Michael), David E. Sexton, and Patricia A. Haines (Scott). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Christi, Jason, Andrew, Adrienne, Austin, Nicholas and Jessica and by 3 great grandchildren, Trenton, Jaiden, and Aylinn. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jane Bille.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road, Coatesville.

Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester, 400 E. Marshall Street, West Chester, Pa 19380.
