Book club discussion group

Calvary Lutheran Church: 730 South New Street, West Chester; Leaders of different faith communities are working together to promote understanding and peace. Pastor Dan Krewson believes “that we must be intentional to wage peace in light of the escalating religious violence and extremism of our day.” Members of the Religious Council of Greater West Chester are hosting a book discussion group in 201617. Participants are invited to read “Laying Down the Sword” by Philip Jenkins. The group will meet on: Nov. 28, Jan. 23 and March 6 (first meeting was Oct. 24).
